STORY TIME: I WAS SUSPENDED 😥

Image
Hello there, welcome to my blog!! Today, I will be telling you all a story on how I got suspended from boarding house. Unbelievable right? Anytime I tell someone, they look surprised because I don't look troublesome. I will just tell you all about it and the lessons I learnt. I will apologise because I know it will be quite lengthy. It was Christmas holiday, you know, time for chopping chicken and keeping up with family. As a typical Igbo Christmas, it was spent in the village. I was doing just that, until I got a message or a call from my dorm mate then that my name was on the "deboarding" list. You know that moment where every thing you have done flashed before your mind but you couldn't see the bad thing. That was how it was for me. She just shocked me by saying, "for flogging junior students". Me ke? I wanted to pee on my self, what was going on in my mind was how I will tell my parents. It was some days to us going back to Lagos at least let me e

HYGIENE FOR FEMALES 👭.

Hi welcome back to my blog. If it's your first time here, welcome and I hope you will like the content here. Also don't forget to follow my blog so as to get post notifications. So today, I would be talking about some of the things we have not been doing or doing right as females. The female body is like an egg that should be treated with care and love. 1. Use of toilet paper: I have noticed many girls don't use toilet paper after urinating. When you don't, the little droplets drop on your pant which can give out a foul odour over a period of time. Also some people don't use the toilet paper appropriately, the correct way is from front to back. A lot do it from back to front, this can bring germs from the back into the vagina. 2. Underwear: Many girls wear their underwear to sleep. It's funny when I see some girls wear their bra to sleep which I wonder how they feel comfortable with it. This can make the under breast to be too sweaty and give an offensiv

IS FEMINISM, MISANDRY?

Image
Hi welcome to my blog once again!! Today's topic is a very controversial one, many don't even like hearing about but it's now part of our everyday life. I have seen so many online"feminist" who hide under the facade of FEMINISM to display misandry. It is also terrible that majority of them don't even understand the meaning of Feminism, they just pick up someone's ideology and just carry it on their head more than the person. Tragic right? This acclaimed "feminists" come online, show their hate for men and praise their fellow women but behind closed doors, they do unimaginable things to these same women. There is also an unhealthy competition between women and men, which is not meant to be so. The  only competition you should have is your self. If the energy they exert on pulling men down is put into self development/discovery, they will not have the time to have unnecessary hate towards men talk less of expressing it.  Feminism has a proble

SLEEP PARALYSIS 👻

Welcome to my blog!! 🤗 Some years back I usually had difficulty moving when I wake up and I would be so scared. It was a very terrifying experience but I later realised it is very common. I felt the presence of someone and had difficulty breathing. One time, I kept trying to call out to someone but it was like my throat was tied. I started saying,"blood of Jesus" in my mind and after a while, I was able to move. Somehow, it felt like it was a dream but it isn't. Sleep paralysis is the temporary inability to move or speak while falling asleep or waking up. As you fall asleep your body relaxes but your mind is awake enough to realise it doesn't have control over your ability to move and speak. It also occurs when waking up if your mind regains consciousness before sleep cycle is complete. When sleeping, the body is relaxed and the muscles are turned off so we can't physically act out vivid dreams. It causes you to hyperventilate or hallucinate but it lasts for so

ARE YOU A GOOD CONVERSATIONALIST??😏

Hi,thank you for tapping on the link and I look forward to your comments at the comment section. 😄 A conversationalist is a person who is good in engaging or holding conversations. I would give you some tips to be a better conversationalist online 😉. 1. Approach: When you are texting someone for the first time, be polite and simple. If it's someone you already know, ask how they are doing or how their day went. 2. Talk about trending issues: This will be easy in this social media age. The other person would have heard about it and will definitely have something to say on it. 3. Curtail unnecessary details: You should know what to disclose, don't be known as a loose talker before you go and "jamb talk". 4. Accept contradictions: We all have our different opinions about things, you shouldn't impose yours on the other person, the person can loose interest in the the conversation. You can give reasons why you think this is so, not to argue, it's called a conv

ONLINE CLASSES??🤔

Hi, welcome to my blog!! It's no news that we are on lockdown due to the Covid-19 pandemic. We were advised to go to our respective homes and this is the fifth week. Prior to that, the academic staff union of universities (ASUU) embarked on a two week warning strike, that's almost a month of no academic activities. The number of Covid-19 cases are rising each day, therefore no one can predict when it will be over. With that in mind, the Minister of Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu has asked tertiary institutions to start online classes. This is a good initiative which other schools in developed countries are doing but can that be possible in Nigeria? On the part of the students, some don't have smart phones or laptops which is very essential for this. Those that have the device may be staying in areas where they hardly have power supply. In the case where a student has the necessary device with stable light, for an online class, you will need data subscription which is quite

BRAINSTORMING IS NOT FOR THE WEAK!😓

Hi, welcome back to my blog, hope you are staying safe! This will be my second post on my blog 💃. Like they say, a journey of a thousand miles begins with a step and I'm glad I took that bold step. I said in my last post that I have always wanted to do this although I haven't written a plan or topics I would write about. I thought when I start, the inspiration will just come but my brothers and sisters, I want to let you all know, it has not been easy at all 😢. I have to bear in mind what my readers would likely engage in most and my objectives for my blog.  I thank God it didn't end in tears 😌, I have been able to write down some topics I will write about but I will appreciate your candid opinion in order to be comprehensive and interesting. Having said that, I would appreciate if you use the comment section.   By the way,my mom helped me edit my last post. It was my first post and if you agree with me, she did a great job. Thank you mum. Thank you all for y
